My new cat

I got him from a family member, he was being bullied by another cat. I've named him Toby, he is so loving and has an adorable meow. He likes to sleep in front of the fire in the evenings I love him to pieces and I've only had him 3 days. He's my first cat.

Sign of an exceptionally bright cat, I reckon. Get him a small teddy-type toy or a pair of rolled up big socks and leave the item lying - behind the sofa or something similar - so that he can 'discover' it.

One of my cats wouldn't play with toys, but loved a game of fetch with a hair band, little balls made from foil and also feathers 😺

Have you taken him for a health check yet, checked his vaccinations and flea and worm treatments are up to date and his chip and insurance are sorted out?

I would get those out of the way so it doesn't get expensive.
