We have had our cats for over two years. They came when they were 12 and 18 months old and had been abandoned. The younger cat steals food. Along with working out how to open the cupboard and helping herself to her sachets and treat sticks she has also

Learnt to open the kitchen bin
Learnt to open the food caddy

Stolen broccoli, cauliflower, cheese and is forever on the counter trying to eat whatever is there. She's learnt to knock the food covers off.

Is she just naughty or is she ill? All up to date with jabs, no issues from the vet, plays, sleeps, understand instructions, but is she remembering being hungry and doesn't feel secure enough to not try and take non cat appropriate food?

Food wise vet says we are feeding her just right.

Sounds like a switched on cat to me.
