Kept ginger boy in all evening, decided at 10pm that it was safe to open cat flap as we hadn't heard any fireworks for about an hour and then the neighbours decide at 10.15 to let off some really loud fireworks. So now I'm sat here fretting that he's bolted, have gone outside to call him and rattle the dreamies but he's nowhere to be seen, SadSadSad

He'll be hiding and he'll come back. Keep trying. I bash a can of tuna at times like this.

I've just got older cat back in. She's on my lap which is unusual for her. She got really spooked.

Couldn't agree more. My sister's lovely rescue dog ran away at 6pm today thanks to the local fireworks. Can't imagine how the wild birds and animals are feeling.

I think Liney is right and he'll be back when he feels it's safe.

Good luck.

Yes. Good luck.

Panic over he's just come back in. Thank goodness. Thanks for your replies.
