My Cat's New Look!

Following my first "panic" post yesterday about my poor cat Angus and his leg I thought you might enjoy a photo of him sporting his new " poodle" leg. Not sure it will catch on! Vet had to shave his leg today as he had to have an anaesthetic to check out a problem we have been having with his leg. We cannot believe it but after nearly 2 weeks, tonight he started putting some weight on the leg for the first time - possibly as they took off a bit of fluid which may have relieved the pain a little. He's currently going mad to get out but cat flap firmly locked. I think he will be prowling around all night, it's going to be fun!

I'm glad he's putting some weight on it at last. Did the vet get to the bottom of his problems? Oh - and how is his eating/drinking and tray use doing?

He is a gorgeous boy!

Oh bless him. I saw that last thread. That face clearly says "but look what they did to me!"
Get well soon adorable Angus.

Thanks everyone.
Cozietoes - after doing X-rays this morning vet is happy nothing is broken and the X-rays didn't show anything sinister. They have taken fluid from the joint and hopefully in a couple of days we should have a better idea of what sort of infection we are dealing with and if we have the right antibiotics. May still take a while to clear but vet is pretty confident this is all as a result of the bites from his naughty brother who is also totally adorable too so we have to forgive him! Angus has eaten a little tonight but not a lot as I think he's stressed about not being able to go out. He's had a wee in his litter tray too. Here's a photo of his gorgeous brother Archie xx

Well, we won't complain about 2 photos of such a gorgeous boy X)

He does look a little put out about the leg! Must feel chilly all of a sudden.
It's good to hear he is putting more weight on it and you are closer to getting it better again x
