New cat - when can they be let outside?

I've had my new fur baby for 3 weeks this weekend and was thinking of letting her out on Saturday - is this long enough? She's 2 years old and spayed and has settled in brilliantly so far.

Yes, they say about three weeks for a new adult cat. Enjoy Smile

Also, we need a photo...

Oh she's pretty!

She's gorgeous!

We moved two weeks ago and I let my cats out today. Girl cat is scared of outside, it's too big and she is happy looking out the window. Boy cat wandered off and just came back covered in bits of plant life. He went and sat in the laundry cupboard for 10 mins and has gone for a lie down now.

What a lovely girl! Let us know how Saturday goes? I spent the first few trips out following our new boy around like an over protective new mum Grin

Yes we advise keeping them in for three weeks. And good advice often given on here is to let them out when they're hungry.

Do you have a cat flap?
