Kitten limping

Hi - one of our 11 week old kittens is limping - looks like his front right paw is hurt. I am guessing he jumped down from somewhere and landed awkwardly.

Would you advise see how it progresses, or straight to vet. He is still eating and wants to play, but is obviously limping on that paw.

Any advice appreciated.

I'd probably vet him I think even though it's likely a strain. How long has he been limping for do you know?

Was fine this morning, noticed when I came home at 2pm.

Mine did this - I was in 2 minds about vet but later on he seemed to be putting no weight on it at all so I took him.

Vet manipulated the leg & shoulder, found no obvious damage, gave him a 24-hour painkilling injection & he was fine next day. The only lasting effect is that he doesn't flex that paw nearly as much as the other one (he used to do them strictly alternately, it was quite funny to watch)

I was glad I'd taken him anyway (even though it cost about £45!)

I'd see a vet for a kitten.
