Another cat missing....

My youngest has been missing for about 48 hours. She went missing for 4 days when she escaped at 7 months, but has since spent nearly every night on our bed. I work nights and she didn't return last night, DP has been here, no sign of her last night when I went to work, or returned this morning.
We're really worried, I couldn't sleep after my night shift, we've done the Hoover bag scattering, been out numerous times today with food bowl, shaking food, calling her and the dreamies. We've asked neighbours to look in garages/sheds. We're getting very worried now. I just want her home Sad. Apart from her first disappearance this is out of character.

No news, yes she's microchipped, 8 days now. She is very small for her age and was practically hand reared, so very affable. I wonder if someone has taken her Sad

Sad

I really feel bad for you and don't know what to say. It is so sad when they go missing.

MissMarple, just to add to the positive stories, we once got our cat back after 6 weeks -- she just reappeared on the doorstep, a bit thin and very, very talkative, but otherwise OK.

MissMarpleCat · 16/10/2015 12:39

Kittie that's lovely. I really hope we're as lucky.

Fingers and paws crossed for you here.
Yes, we did the world's biggest double-take at the sight of her on the step -- the kids were beside themselves!

We just got ours back on day 9.

Coming home with DD2 this evening, found our other cat kind of yapping at the end of the street. We stopped to say hello to him and realised another cat was answering nearby. He was trapped in the cellar of a house 2 doors up from us. quite an operation as it was being used to store old household goods. He'd got between some freezers and I guess couldn't get back up the sheer sides! took quite a lot of shifting - worried about knocking stuff over on him - and then a chase round the cellar!

He was hungry and super cuddly - all good!

MissMarple has there been any news of your missing girl?

MissMarpleCat · 24/10/2015 21:44

No timtam, sadly not. I get the feeling I'll never see her beautiful face again Sad

So sorry...the worst thing is not knowing what has happened...there have been amazing stories on here of cats returning after weeks or months so there is still a chance. Flowers

Pipbin · 24/10/2015 22:23

So sorry.
On my local FB missing cats page there is a woman who has just had a call to say that her cat who had been missing for 7months had just been found and taken to a vet. I do hope you have a happy ending too.

MissMarpleCat · 24/10/2015 22:25

Thank you for your kind words, I really hope we get a happy ending too.
