Seniorboy hits 100......

A short while ago, my Darling Seniorboy hit 20 years and 9 months which makes him officially 100 in human terms? He's looking remarkably unimpressed with himself.

I shall await the card from the Palace tomorrow.

I hope I'm fortunate in that I have a long time with my boys. We'd joke about getting our money's worth out of them.

I suspect it's down to living the life of Riley, MissMarple - that and an added touch of good genes. He may make like an elegant and wise old cat but I suspect him of having the genetic make-up of a Massey Ferguson!

(And he has a very indulgent vet. )

There shall be an official photo later on today, Pink - it looks as if we're about to get some sunshine here so I should be able to take one while he's basking.

Everybody knows the corgis stop cards for cats.

Does he get a special treat for his longevity?.

It's a pity you don't know the whereabouts of his siblings for a party.

His life is one continuous round of treats, Fluffy. It's what he's used to so I'd be hard pressed to think of anything extra for any celebration.

Anyway - Here is the centenarian, snapped half an hour ago. The promised sun didn't really show up so it's only a semi-bask.

Ah lovely, he doesn't look a day over 10

He is in remarkable condition.

Just sneaked in for another look at the gorgeous boy. He's the colour of the top of the most delicious cup of coffee you can ever imagine, isn't he. Celestial soft crema with single-estate velvet tips.

He thanks you all. You've almost made up for the absence of a card from The Palace.

His colour, Cory, is almost certainly the result of so much time spent lying on his electric blanket in a delicious warm fug. (He's very pale for such an elderly Siamese.) He doesn't even get those dark marks if he has his fur shaved as is common for them - his follicles are unchallenged by low temperatures!

Wow.

Oh and he's very cute too
