Cat hiding under the shed

Would like some thoughts in this. My poor cat was hit by a car last week and took her to the vet immediately, give a full check over and we think just bruised. Given pain killer injection and pain meds to take home. Manage one lot and then disappered. I have found her under the shed so feeding her there and she seems well but not willing to come near me. Any suggestions?

oh, poor thing. that must be such a worry. How long has she been there? I would be tempted to leave her there for a little while longer to see if she gains confidence, as long as she is safe.

otherwise, if you can get her out and keep her in a quiet room whilst she settles?

It has been about a week. She is eating well but so nervous, she let me stroke her a bit but if I tried to pick her she would go crazy.

At least she is eating and wanting a stroke. Hopefully you can gain her trust enough to get her inside. Flowers must be a worry.

Just some good news. My cat came into the house and happily sleeping on my bed, very content and eating like a horse. Her tail is not right gonn call the vet about that

That's good to hear, I'm glad she's ready to come home. Must be a relief to at least see how she is now
