My stupid cat is getting in through NDN cats flap and eating all his dinner. Hence horrific loose bowels necessitating OOH vet fees and stool tests (negative). Of course the day after I took him to the vets it all stopped, oh yes. And why will the git use their cat flap when he won't use ours and I get yowled at to open the door for their lordships?
NDN is now away for the week, so I've taken to taping up his catflap when I let the 2 princes out for their 3 x 1 hour walkabouts -so they don't go in and eat his grub. Is that unreasonable? I'm timing it to not clash with NDN cats wanders (he is an evening person).

Forgot to say he has a sensitive gut so I feed him very expensive royal Canin gastro pouches and all is firm on that. Plus he loves them. But is obviously developing a 'taste' for felix and go cat.

Well nothing tastes better than your neighbours stolen kitti-kat.

Long term solution is to buy them a microchip catflap. It wont stop them refusing to use their catflap though, you're nicely trained now to open doors.

Can ndn cat get out if there's a fire?.

Yep I'll have to pay for the microchip too I expect as he ain't done. I'm watching the house (ours looks onto theirs) and it's only for an hour at a time max (I don't want him to pee in there). Don't really know what else to do (someone else must be feeding him as our holidays clashed a bit), he is a snacker and if he gets in my boy will gobble all his rations...

Best just give next doors cat a credit card. In the long run though it should be cheaper and less stressful.

Yeah, until he finds the next non microchip catflap to invade....

I wonder if they do a bulk discount?
