Rescue cat concerns plus letting her out

We waited the full three weeks and all was well but this last week, week 5 she has been pushing the boundaries and climbing on roofs and walls to look at next doors space.

I've set up a plank arrangement so she can get back from the wall but if she actually goes over I'm worried how she will get back from their side. She's 10 and I'm not sure she's very outdoor-savvy.

Am I worrying unnecessarily? I'm sure I am!

I daren't let her have access to the cat flap overnight yet. She won't use the garden to toilet, she keeps coming indoors to use the litter tray so there's no reason to open her cat flap at night.

Am I being too over cautious? How can I get her to toilet outside? I don't mind her using a litter tray, I just don't want her crossing her legs if she gets stuck outside!

If she gets desperate she will do her business outside. I wouldn't let her out overnight anyway, too dangerous.

They can jump and climb really well. Dhs cat could climb brick walls.

What fluffy said. They find their way back and scale great heights. I'd also keep her in at night. Encouraging litter tray use is great as its social (keeping neighbours gardens free of poop) plus you can keep an eye on her 'deposits'.
