I'm on a Facebook group for local mums and someone posted a message about a missing cat. I messaged the woman who found it and theowners haven't been found and it's not microchipped.

I have offered to take it in, as my partner and I are moving into a house with a garden and are looking to get a kitten. I'd ruled out a rescue cat, as we are having a baby soon and I don't want an upset kitty. Facebook woman has said that this cat is very friendly and unphased by her two year old twins.

Am I being responsible offering to take this animal in or do you think it's better to let it go to a rescue home?

Would really like to weigh up the pros and cons! Many thanks in advance.

con- what if the real owner shows up how would you feel about handing cat back?

Sad, very sad but she would have to go back to her original owners.

If it's not chipped then take it, if they come forward then they get it back obv.
