Any ideas how I can help my old cat?

Just because I'm stuck, cat is 12, has lost 2kg in a year, and has started throwing up when he eats - he overeats and then vomits undigested food.

Took him to the vet who thoroughly checked him over & charged a lot of money for blood tests but found nothing wrong, suggested a go slow bowl, we've changed his diet, but cat is still being sick although now its mostly fluid he vomits, does anyone have any suggestions of what I can try now or ideas for what could be wrong that the vet could miss? Long shot I know...

As his bloods have been checked, what shape are his teeth in?

Has he had any xrays or scans?

He had several teeth removed a couple of years ago, vet checked his mouth and said that's not the problem this time. No, no xrays or scans, the vet didn't suggest these. Should I push for some?

I would, in case he has some kind of blockage.
