After threads seen else where I MN this worries me.

He's 1, and goes out a lot, hasn't used the litter tray for a good while. I felt OK about that as he was using a corner of my garden but now a Tom has pushed his way in and sprayed around and I know KittyWix isn't going in my garden anymore

The horrible threats on MN have me panicked. How can I get him back to using the litter tray?

Help!!

I suspect your panicking over something that wont happen. Our cat and the black and white cat both toilet in ndn border around the lawn. He's put a cat scarer up but never said anything to us.

Don't worry - I'd just keep his tray inside going in case he wants to use it and make sure to keep the garden patch 'fresh' by regular forking over etc. (I'm sure you'd do that anyway.) He may go back to using it.

Do you have a chip cat flap? (I'm wondering whether that mean tom could see your house as a target of opportunity.)

Not yet. I'm getting a new back door very soon. Will get one then.
