But she has hissed at him less today so I guess she is beginning to forgive him:)

He has spent the day in the garden (just gone out!) contemplating how he is not going to do that again... for at least a week....

Wow, what a stunning pair Smile
I'm sure she'll come round, perhaps she's sulking!

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/06/2015 20:37

Did he do any damage in the house he was locked in?

Corygal · 23/06/2015 20:38

Ooh the loveliness of your pair of beauties. Give it a bit of time.

RubbishMantra · 23/06/2015 20:39

Is that a cat or a Werewolf?! Grin

So glad he's back home.

cozietoesie · 23/06/2015 20:49

Wonderful picture of Obie. What a lad. Smile

It sounds as if she's starting to forgive him. (She's probably just hanging on for a little bit for form's sake.)

I had this when I was cat-sitting my friend's two youngish cats (boy and girl, cousins, grew up together). The girl came home one morning covered in engine oil, had to take her to the vet to get cleaned up (and medicated as she'd ingested some). She was only away for a few hours but on her return the boy cat was really scared of her - hissing, growling, running away. She must have smelt VERY strange to him. I think she was desperate for him to groom her! He wouldn't of course so she (uncharacteristically) elicited lots of strokes and cuddles from me. Things settled down between them after a day or two.

sashh · 26/06/2015 09:30

They are both stunning. I predict mutual grooming by Monday.

cozietoesie · 27/06/2015 20:41

Any improvement?

MedusaIsHavingaBadHairday · 28/06/2015 17:53

They are almost back to normal.. but not quite. Ophie has washed his face and is no longer growling at him, but if he appears suddenly she will still give the odd hiss. However he's back to being himself now so I think she is just pissed off with him :)

Well a male of any species being himself can be annoying. You can't blame her.

Corygal · 28/06/2015 23:02

She's just having a little domestic. So glad all thriving with your lovely lions.

cozietoesie · 28/06/2015 23:07

Yep - for form's sake and just to keep him in line. Wink

Things sound much better.

cozietoesie · 28/06/2015 23:08

PS - Is the lad still very close?

MedusaIsHavingaBadHairday · 29/06/2015 00:26

No... he spent two days following me around and crying if I was out of sight. Then he remembered his mate at no 57. Just as well that the lovely people at no 57 adore him as he goes in their house, plays with their cat and snores in their conservatory. Unfaithful git!
