Obie is off to be clippered today

It's a full sedation job so the girls have been fed in the conservatory and let out and he is now following me around and miaowing at me in a very cross manner begging to be fed (and let out!) DS1 is going to take him at 9am as he's not working today and I will be in work by then.

I've told Obie it's his own fault for not letting me groom him properly but he's not listening...

Picurtures to follow when I pick him up this afternoon :D

Good luck to the lad. He'll be much more comfortable on return if your temperature is stating to climb as ours is - finally!

Looking forward to the pics.

I can't wait to see pictures of Obie sporting his new 'do'. Is he having a lion cut? Or as he's a teenager, he'd probably like a hipster-style Hitler hair-do, with exaggerated side parting. Grin

When DH was 13, his mum took him to the hairdresser, and asked them to "cut his hair like Hugh Grant". He's been phobic of hair-cuts ever since.

Well I'm not best pleased. Instead of clippering him short all over as requested, they have dematted most of him and shaved the parts that were really bad... so he looks a mess and will no doubt be matted again by the end of the week :( And they charged me nearly £100 !!!!!

I'll take a pic later so you can see :(

Oh no! I'm gutted on your behalf!

I always bring a photo into the hairdresser's, rather than try to explain what I want... Or do you have a clipper with a guard on it? Then you could give him a hair-cut at home.

Fluffycloudland77 · 11/06/2015 16:32

Oh dear, I'd be cross too. How is he?.

chockbic · 11/06/2015 18:00

Probably not much help, I'm chuckling at taking in a picture Grin

Could a few highlights ease the tension? Wink

MedusaIsHavingaBadHairday · 11/06/2015 18:00

I think we will have to try and clipper him at home... (I'll give him a day or so to recover first!) I said very clearly that I wanted him clippered short... :/

He's slunk off in a grump for now...

Nothing worse than a bad haircut. Instead of feeling fabulous, you walk out feeling deflated and disappointed. And still leave a bloody tip.

Poor Obie. Sad

Can we have a picture though? Grin

Is he likely to be a neighbourhood Style Leader? Could it become a fashionable cut?
