My mum needs some help she has no internet connection and four kittens (plus mum cat) to look after. The littlest kitten Sunil is three weeks old and not eating solids yet though his sibs are. The vet checked him over and gave some hills food to try but some other experience/ ideas would be appreciated. I will be consulting the net vet myself this evening but if any of the MN brains could help I would appreciate it. Thanks.

A flat plate and a lot of liquid mixed in so that it's pretty well a soup.

Be warned - it could get messy.

Try sticking your finger in the soupy cat food, so kitten can lick it off. Use hot water, to enhance the smell. Make sure it's cooled down to tepid before offering to kitten though.

Did vet check for palate abnormalities?

Will mum-cat be kept indoors until she's neutered?
