cats chewing on cables!

my two girls keep chewing on cables - mostly thin ones like phone chargers etc. I have already lost my headphones, phone charger and laptop charger to these menaces.

Anyone else have this issue and anything I can do about it? I unplug things before I leave the house so they can't start a fire but it doesn't stop them wrecking my stuff! I can't put every plug in the house away in a cupboard.

No, I had a house rabbit that did that, but never a cat. Are they young? It sounds like kitten behaviour

A gummy bone for dogs. I kid you not. We bought a blue one with knobbles on. They seem to go through a phase when they're teething. Also put eucalyptus oil on any cable he took a fancy to. Repel and distract.

thecat they will be a year old in a couple of weeks, so they are young yes but not kitten-kittens IYSWIM

chockbic fab, I'll try those then!!! I thought the teething stage was done. It's one of them in particular, she just likes to chew things I think (my toes being a firm favourite).
