Poor old puss

I had my poorly 17 year old puss put to sleep this morning. We've had her since she was a tiny 7 week old kitten, feel so sad and empty without her, DS is inconsolable Sad

I know it's non-MN, but would Rainbow Bridge be of any comfort to you?
I'd like to think that somehow, someday, we all will be re-united with the pets we've lost.
I'm sorry.

It's a very hard moment, right and loving decision though it might be. I feel for you.

This leaflet might be of some interest to you when talking to DS. (I don't know how old he is.)

Sorry for your loss Flowers

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/04/2015 07:07

I'm very sorry you've lost her but it's preferable to suffering. You never want to let them go do you?.

chockbic · 25/04/2015 17:28

It's a big chunk of your life too, that you reflect on when they're gone. You will remember the happier moments, in time.

Flowers for you and DS.

How is everyone doing?

GloryHunter · 26/04/2015 12:24

DS is ok but the house just seems so empty without her, lots of tears this weekend. Thankyou for asking and for all the kind words x

Oh dear that's me posting from a different device with old name!

Ah - you're safe enough here, Johnny. It's a friendly board.

cozietoesie · 26/04/2015 12:34

PS - but if it makes you real edgy, report your post to MNHQ and ask them to remove it and the next two posts - and this one!

CtrlAltDelicious · 26/04/2015 12:36

Poor you. Their absence is just so noticeable isn't it?
