Poor old puss

I had my poorly 17 year old puss put to sleep this morning. We've had her since she was a tiny 7 week old kitten, feel so sad and empty without her, DS is inconsolable

I know it's non-MN, but would Rainbow Bridge be of any comfort to you?
I'd like to think that somehow, someday, we all will be re-united with the pets we've lost.

It's a very hard moment, right and loving decision though it might be. I feel for you.

I'm very sorry you've lost her but it's preferable to suffering. You never want to let them go do you?.

It's a big chunk of your life too, that you reflect on when they're gone. You will remember the happier moments, in time.

DS is ok but the house just seems so empty without her, lots of tears this weekend. Thankyou for asking and for all the kind words x
