It's a year since our lovely old boy died. He'd be very cross to know we're having a girl cat!
Her owners are emigrating and can't take her so she's coming to us. She's a pale grey tabby.
I think she'll need to stay in for a couple of weeks but after that she's having a cat flap.
Her vaccinations are up to date and she's chipped. I presume I'll need to take her to the vet to get the chip changed. I presume it's straightforward?
Is there anything I should be thinking about apart from her apparent love of salmon & warm roast chicken?

They keep the same chip. Ask the current owners to ring (presumably) Petlog and notify them of the change of ownership/address. I think it can also be done online.

I'd keep her in for 4 weeks.

Lovely that you're adopting her. Smile

Thanks. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement, we miss having a furry animal in our lives.
DH is already saying we should have the heating on longer in the winter he refuses for me & the DC Grin
