Cat not right after boosters...

Cat had her yearly boosters on Wednesday and hasn't eaten much since. She's been sneezing almost constantly since last night and has just crammed herself in a corner she wouldn't normally go in for a sleep. Are vaccines live? Could she just be under the weather because of the jabs?

They can be live. Or dead. Presumably.

Ours went off colour for a while. See how she is in a couple of days.

Cat vaccines tend to be live attenuated vaccines. Though actually usually the worst vaccination reactions come from the adjuvants.
I would only expect a vaccination reaction to last 24 hours so 5 days later I would suggest she is seen.
There is a non-adjuvanted vaccine on the market that has much, much lower rates of vaccine reactions that the other vaccines.

My boy gets like this after his jabs. Usually only a day or two though. I'd tempt kitty with all their favourite foods and give the vet a call if no change by tomorrow.

Thanks all. I'll definitely get her seen if no improvement.

Is she better, OP?
