We are thinking of getting a new kitten, possibly in a few months time.

Yes I know...

Anyway, one slight concern is that Jack is suspected of carrying the herpes virus. Hence his snuffly nose and grunty breathing. Can it be transmitted to the new kitten and cause problems?

Thanks for any advice.

No idea about herpes but does he like other cats? Other than that you are quite insane.

I know but I'm getting kitten broody for a female half Siamese.
