Cat came home after 8 months of galavanting goodness knows where. We didn't think she was coming back (to be honest we thought the worse had happened). It was heartbreaking.

We then got a kitten and he and our other cat Arthur got on brilliantly. The are inseparable. Arthur and Cat never really got on but she was just starting to tolerate(ish) him when she disappeared.

It's inly been a couple if weeks but it is really difficult. Both Arthur and Tudor are interested in her but they can't be in the same room or they get attacked (I would have thought they would have learned by now)

I really don't know what to do.

Help!

Oh dear. But it really hasn't been long and everything will settle down again eventually (my money is on around 6 to 8 weeks). They should end up reaching the same sort of mutual tolerance they had before.

Try not to worry. Arthur and kitten have each other for reassurance and prodigal cat will get used to them eventually.

IME, boy cats are much more tolerant than females.

The boys will soon work out she's the boss.

She is like the prodigal cat Grin. I'm hoping they learn soon as my anxiety levels are going through the roof.

Some of the time they just stay in the dining room as she growls at them from the top spot on the window sill in the living room but they then want to investigate her which ends up with howling and claws. They end up hiding for a while but still haven't leant their lesson.

I'm looking forward to mutual tolerance!

Oh, just had a thought, have you got feliway? One on each floor. Plugged in close to the places they hang out.

Thank you, I will give that a go
