Seniorboy has some sunshine at last. It's not much and it probably won't last for very long but it's made him warm and happy. Smile

Hope all your cats have woken up to spring where you are.

This is the first picture I've seen of Seniorboy - he's so handsome!

H is fast asleep on the bed, which is where is seems to spend most of his time. We did have some sun first thing but it had disappeared by the time he woke up!

Sparklingbrook · 21/03/2015 13:54

Sparklingcat was having a sunbathe in the window but jumped down as I think she got too warm. it's time for the flea/worm back of neck stuff today so I am choosing my moment...

Ubik1 · 21/03/2015 13:55

Yes the cats are lying in a pool of sunshine in the hallway

RubbishMantra · 21/03/2015 14:04

Ah bless the elegant monsieur. He looks so content. And he does so love a bit of the old sunshine doesn't he. Smile

No sunniness in my neck of the woods.

cozietoesie · 21/03/2015 14:08

Unfortunately, he hasn't been to that spot in daylight for a good few months and went too fast - so banged straight into one of the chairs on his first approach. (His second approach was more circumspect.) He's happy though.

What is it about cats and sunshine? There's plenty of actual heat around the place but sunshine gets their vote every time. Smile

Good luck, Sparkling. It sounds rather as if she suspects you of being up to no good. Wink

Thanks cozie. She is in the perfect position now as it happens. I am always amazed how much liquid is in those teeny tiny tubes. I have the seal pierced and ready to pounce.....

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/03/2015 14:13

He looks very content, you'd never guess he was 20 would you?.

cozietoesie · 21/03/2015 14:20

You can tell - just - if you know cats. (And I had taken a better picture!) Those stubby claws are a bit of a giveaway and if you saw him in the flesh, you would see the skinny muscles on his back and rear legs.

But Yes - he looks well for his age, really.

Thanks, Fluffy.

All our cats that got old were Persians so you didn't notice the paws, they just got bony on the spine.

chockbic · 22/03/2015 11:37

He looks very content in that picture. A lovely colour too.

Rollypoly100 · 22/03/2015 23:33

Rollycat also loving the sunshine.

Look at that. Almost as good as nip.

valrhona · 23/03/2015 18:42

I had a great time watching Coley positively frolicking in the grass during the sunshine yesterday. It was the closest thing I've ever seen to a cat pirouetting Grin

MedusaIsHavingaBadHairday · 23/03/2015 23:18

Aw I just want to stroke Seniorboy...I love really old cats :)

Ophie actually went OUT this weekend , only in the garden as she is timid, but spent all afternoon sunday, rolling on the patio in the sun :)

BumblingBoris · 24/03/2015 19:09

Boris Cat is a Kitler! Grin

DramaAlpaca · 24/03/2015 23:36

Gorgeous cat pictures Smile

I hadn't seen a picture of Seniorboy before, though cozie talks about him often - he's a lovely old boy.

My old chap (though at 14 a mere stripling compared to Seniorboy) has been enjoying sunning himself outside on the deck.

We have a treadmill in our conservatory, and the running belt gets nice & warm in the sun. Yesterday both cats were stretched out on it together looking very comfortable indeed.

Wolfiefan · 24/03/2015 23:37

Wolfiecat is 18. She has decided that tramadol (for arthritis), catnip, tuna, whelping pad (AKA butt warmer) and sunbeam on back is perfection!

BumblingBoris · 25/03/2015 07:22

kitler Grin

RubbishMantra · 25/03/2015 08:13

Kitlers

BumblingBoris · 25/03/2015 13:32

Aah mantra Boriscat could be famous!!
TBH he looks more like a fresian cow Hmm
He has 2 black spots on his back and when he sits in a certain position they make a heart shape Smile

RubbishMantra · 25/03/2015 13:46

Seems appropriate for your love-heart accessoried cat. Sooo this season. Grin
