Having to rehome cats , but how ?

I'm having to move house to the other end of the country , I am going to be living in a flat for at least a year .
I have 5 cats & I love them dearly but I just can't take them all with me & I don't have anybody that could look after them for me as I have already tried asking everyone .

I can manage the two oldest , so that just leaves the three youngest that I have hand reared since they were 3 weeks old & they are now 18 months old , I'm in bits about this but I just don't have a choice .

What's the best way to rehome cats ?
They are all Neutered, microchipped & vaccinated which I'm guessing will help .

Please don't flame me , I'm looking for advice to ensure they go to a brilliant home/homes & don't end up as bait

have a look on catchat for local no-kill rescues, then phone around until you find one who can take them. you might have to wait a couple of weeks but they are usually very helpful and will direct you to other shelters if they are full.
