Old cat sickness and diarrhoea!

My old girl has been being sick for about 6 months on and off. Took her to the vets thinking they would pts but they took a blood test and all was okay with her for her age.
Put her on James wellbeloved and all was okay she then was being sick once a week. Sometimes all her food and sometimes just fluid.
This weekend she has hardly kept anything down except a tiny tin of tuna. She also now has really bad diarrhoea.. I dont know what to do for the best.
Really hard to starve her as she miaows for food and is obviously hungry.
Just gave her half a James pouch and she has brought it back up.
Reluctant to take her back to the vets as she has had a blood test so what else can they do. But will if I have to.
She is 21

When did the diarrhoea start? And what consistency is it? (Sorry in advance for making you think about that - does she reach her tray and do a lot, for example, or is it just some runny dribs and drabs.)

It is a tiny bit of semi solid and then like water she is going to the tray.
I have tried her with the wellbeloved and gourmet gold pâté today but she has brought it all up.
I have just been out and got some more tuna in spring water and given her a few spoons of that and she has finally settled on her heat pad!

It's difficult to think what's for the best - at her age, body systems can start to malfunction even in a previously healthy cat - but I'd be guessing that her bowels aren't functioning too well and that she's maybe getting some constipation/backup. Do you recall when she was last having reasonable poos? (Not lots of small nuggets but of a decent size individually.)

She had normal poo on Thursday and Friday. Yesterday soft, today pools the consistency of water.
I have been reading about IBD and wonder if it is that.

You can get royal Canin gastrointestinal wet food from the vet which is palatable and easily absorbed and some probiotic. If that doesn't clear it I'd take her to the vet. Hope she feels better soon she looks a lovely old girl.

Maybe she needs an anti sickness jab too.

No sickness overnight. I have not known her to be sick with tuna but not sure how safe that is to feed everyday or whether at her age it doesn't matter and just give what she wants.
She seems to like the applaws tins of chicken but they are pricey and I have not got unlimited funds. Guess I could get her a few tins while she is poorly!

Ours is having out-of-character runny poos around the house, the vet says there's been an increase in cases of Guardia over the past couple of years so she's being treated with panacur. Possibly worth checking or has it already been ruled put?

I have a vague memory that Applaws wet food is a complementary food and not a complete food so maybe best to check that out. If so, just a few tins only would be a better idea than constant feeding on it - which wouldn't give her all her necessary nutrients. (Although just getting some nosh through her system without incident would likely be ....not bad for it.)
