Fish supper for poorly cat...

This is probably a really silly question. I have a poorly cat who is being treated by the vet and appears to be perking up a bit. I want to make him something tasty for supper as his appetite has been poor. I have bought some fresh fish but don't know if I should cook it first, or if I do cook it how should I do it? It's nice fish from Sainsbury's, a mixed selection to make fish pie. Normally all he eats is Felix and James Wellbeloved, never really been interested in human food. Please help!!

You can just microwave or steam it for your little lad.

If he's poorly, best to cook it.

Also tuna in spring water (not brine, salt's bad for cats.)

Thanks for the advice, I lightly pan fried it and both poorly cat and well cat sniffed it and ignored!! Would it be bad form to scrape it all up and make a fish pie tomorrow
