Just lost a long post about this, so will try a short one. Am considering a chip operated cat flap because we have had an intruder and a 5am indoor cat fight. I think I have spotted the culprit today, a very large cat I have not seen before. We have never had a problem of this sort in the last 11 years here. Are the chip based flaps straightforward to use?
