Raw Food which one?

If you feed raw, do you DIY or use a supplier and if you use a supplier, could you recommend one please?

I'm looking for some which includes ground bone, that's something I can't do myself and 'fit for human consumption' bonemeal appears to be US sourced from CAFOD reared animals (factory farmed, fed growth hormones etc.)

I'm currently feeding them supermarket frozen chicken portions, thawed and cut up. Cost is £1.60 per kilo.

All of the online catfood raw suppliers I've found so far are more than 10 times that and lots contain other meats or fish mixed in.

is yours eating bones? the ratio should be 8:1:1 meat, organ, bone.

I've got 6, all are either rescued or ferals who have taken up residence in the large insulated pen on our terrace.

How do you feed yours bone, do you grind fresh bone yourself or buy bonemeal and add it? I'm sure my outdoor residents get enough bone (you should hear them crunch it!) but I don't want my indoor trilogy dragging fresh bones all over the carpets so they get the chopped up raw chicken, any offal that's with it, cartilage, bone marrow but no bone.

I feed them.wing tips and carcasses as their bone. my butcher saves them for me!

I no longer worry about them dragging the bones across my tiled kitchen floor. ...that's what dettol wipes are for

My cat eats natural instinct raw food which contains all the right amounts of bone,offal etc. Unfortunately she only likes the venison flavour which is the most expensive though, the spoilt little thing... I've got my mum giving it to her cat too and he only likes the lamb one so if you're going to try it then it's worth trying all the flavours. My sister in law's cats won't touch any of them so it really depends on your cat but I'd say it's worth a try as it's easier than diy if they'll eat it (and when I tried mine on chicken pieces etc she wouldn't eat them either!)

If you're buying supermarket chicken breast it's already been processed & will have lost some taurine.

If you can, buy some taurine supplement.
