Gave wrong food by mistake!

Am worried. I just realised that the new wet pouches I bought are adult instead of kitten ones. She's had them for a few days now! Will it be ok? Will swap back to kitten now, just been out to replace... (She's been having kitten dried food alongside it)

I've been told that there's no real difference between adult and kitten, other than kitten tends to be denser in calories as they usually eat less. So don't worry, it's very unlikely to do any serious harm I don't think!

Kitten food is just a bit richer in nutrients to cater for growing bones and muscles - adult food will do her no harm.

Mines been on adult food for a few days too because I ran out of kitten and the delivery hasn't come yet Blush

I'm not worrying. Won't cause any horrendous vitamin deficiencies in a couple of days :)

Oh brilliant, thank you :-)

She'll be fine. As everyone else said, the kitten food is just higher in calories and nutrients.
