If I was a Kardashian I'd so change that to Kat

Anyway, Breena has started stealing my slippers. In the beginning I'd find one in the hallway. Now she takes it under the bed (her favourite place). It's just a pink fluffy slipper with pom-poms on it. She is two and desexed. Has she developed a secret attraction to pompoms? What's with the slipper fetish?

Maybe because it smells of you? She might use it as a comforter.

It's her toy.

They often seem to prefer 'objet trouvés'. Many of mine over the years have had a thing for those rolled up pairs of socks - you know, where you lay them together and pull the top of one down and around the pair.

Soft, chewable and of broadly the right size seem to be the criteria.

*objets trouvés. (I need more caffeine.)

MKitten is partial to socks and feet. He'll spend a fair bit of time sniffing them, doing that flehmen response thing?

Morph collected DS2's dummies. In his mouth Grin
Not the most hygenic of activities, I grant you, but it was hilarious seeing him march off purposefully to his favourite spot with a dummy in his mouth!

(And DS2 never minded and has survived!)

I never actually see Breena playing with the slippers. They just turn up in random places. Perhaps it's a poltergeist.

My previous cat would steal my flatmate's pens and call us to my room to show us her prize. Maybe she thinks you slipper's are pink house mice!
