Why do my cat's paws smell of digestive biscuits?

Is it normal or does he have cat athlete's foot? They look fine and (reasonably) clean - the claws are always a bit grubby from going outdoors - but they smell really strongly and I just figured out what the smell reminds me of.

My dog also has digestive feet. Her ear holes smell of honey. Do your cats?

i shall try and sniff idiotcats feet later, but my first cat's feet used to smell odd....

always a biscuity background, but sometimes grassy, sometimes cheesey, sometimes earthy

My cat has gone into hiding so I am unable to confirm digestive biscuit feet.

For ages I was confused that my cat's head smelt of sweets, then I finally realised I'd been wearing cherry chapstick and making her smell of it when I kissed her on the head, which I probably do several hundred times a day.

My ginger cat smells of digestive biscuits all over. It's lovely. I didn't know it was a common thing.
