Kitty's first hunting trip

He came back with a still buzzing wasp in his mouth

Cute. Mine used to come in with wiggling earth worms. Boak.

Oh slimy. Yet less dangerous than something with a sting.

It must be a full moon or something, MKitten caught his first mouse in the wee hours of this morning.

But do you feel a bit proud of him? Like a rite of passage?

I do really feel proud Although he loves his mice toys, the real thing might just be too fast for him.

He has made friends with a couple of pheasants. A proper bromance, you might say.

How old is mkitten?

MKitten's 9 months now. Blimey, he's grown up so fast!

MCat brought a live partridge home to make friends with once.

He needs to bring a pear tree back next to make it festive

Mine is just making googly eyes at the pheasants. While they chuck in return.

That reminds me of when MCat was a kitten - he used to hang around with a flock of chickens. He's a town-cat now, so doesn't get the opportunity to meet fowl anymore.

How old is ScissorClaws now?

They don't seem to quite know what they're dealing with, do they? Or where their chicken meals come from

He has just turned the grand age of six months I'm getting him a stocking for his first Christmas.

My little boy brings back mice. He holds them by the tail. They are never injured, don't think he knows what to do and they always outwit him. Sometimes they hide under the food bowl but yesterday's went behind the washing machine - god knows where it is now
