Taking my cat on a long journey

We want to take our cat on a 2 hour journey. Will she be ok? What if she needs the toilet?

She is normally fine in the car for short journeys to the vet, miaows a lot but settles well so I am hopefully but 2 hours seems such a long time!

You can spray the car and cat basket with Feliway to reduce stress.

I borrowed a pen/dog crate and put in a litter tray but they never used it and was a 5 hour trip.

Absolute not a peep out of them!

2 hours should be fine I reckon. The Feliway's a good idea, and make sure she's been to the loo before setting off. Also something warm and fleecy in the carrier.

When we picked MKitten up, it took us over an hour to get home. He shouted the entire way at the top of his lungs, but as soon as we got him home, he insisted on playing with his toys for 2 solid hours. So clearly not too upset by the journey.
