Scratching post

Can anyone recommend a good scratching post for my new kitten please?

I'm a fan of the cardbord ones. A much better scratch time to price ratio than the wound rope ones, I've found.

The one we have is from pets at home its that wound ropey stuff though. Looks nice aesthetically....

Mine prefer our stair carpet to any we have bought specially! Cute kitten .

I made my own, so can't recommend a shop-bought one, but the taller the better, so they can have a good old stretch.

Rubbish he is a Ragdoll!

Boycat uses the wicker baskets in the bathroom and my sewing room (even though he has a scratch post)
He's also a bif fan of scratching on the tree's outside.

My kitten will be an indoor cat and has already been going at the sofas so I need to sort something quickly so he has somewhere good to scratch and hope he uses it!
