Quick update on the farm kitten situation

Didn't know whether to post, as it didn't have a satisfactory conclusion, but thought I would just quickly update.

They're still using my shed as HQ but I do see them with mum leaping over the silage bales on the farm, etc. so they're getting out and about.
Despite the farmer's sister's rant I have continued to feed them and they seem to have doubled in size over the last week. They're like miniature cats now, not kittens! I've fed sprats, dry food, butchers choice, value food, duck carcass (minus breasts and legs) - just a mix really.

I can stroke them all. The two torties are shyer, but the ginger and white boy is an absolute darling. I can pick him up, cuddle him, he purrs and lies on his back in my arms.

Even better, all of their eyes are looking healthier. Not perfect, and I know a responsible owner would still get them treated, but they're definitely looking better. So, while not an ideal situation, I'm still happy that they're all alive and nourished. Here is a pic, poor quality sorry!

Oh good. The foods probably helping them fight the eye infection.

Have you seen the checkout smart app? It's got a cereal free cat food on there for £1.50.

You'd need a smartphone to download the app.

Oh - no I haven't. What is this?? Sorry - dim!

It's run by quidco, now I think about it having a quidco account & using the offers on their page is easier because you don't pay commission that way.

CatKisser · 23/10/2014 21:48

Thank you!

Cat food offers been pulled! Angry

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/10/2014 10:21

The cat food "butchers cat" is now free on checkout smart or quidco clicksnap.

You can't redeem the same recipt with both but you could have an account with each & buy each item seperately so you'd have 12 cans for free.

Could they be rehomed? what an excellent job you've done

I remember your thread, what a great job you've done in a difficult situation. Glad the kits are doing well. Smile
