Kitten cuteness!

Here are our 2 new Maine Coon kittens who will be joining us an a few weeks. One's a silver tortie and the other a brown one. They need nice names - elegant and regal, but also practical.

Weve thought about Rhiannon and Olwen (Celtic goddesses of moon and sun respectively) or Athena and something. Any suggestions?

I have no name suggestions but I squealed at those photos. Actually squealed.

Ooh they're lovely! :) I like the idea of naming them after goddesses... I like Olwen and Athena. Not so sure about Rhiannon (seems too human!)
Maybe you could think about literary/historical names as well as goddesses?

Oh sorry, they're both girls I've just realised...Athena and Olwen I really like.

OMG those are seriously cute kittens! What about Cobweb for the silver tabby and Peaseblossom (Blossom for short) for the brown tabby? They're the naughty fairies in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

We've failed with elegant and regal! We've devided on Bramble for the brown, and Willow for the silver - we realised we're not elegant and regal people!

Thanks :) Took us hours last night! We considered all of the suggestions (I loved Cobweb for the silver, but couldn't find a name I liked as much that 'went'). Nearly went for Athena and Freya. :)
