Firework noises already

I have firework bangs outside even though it's only 17th October! I thought they were more concentrated these days but I'm clearly wrong. (It's a good job Seniorboy is buried in his bed because he's not that keen on them - not made frantic but he doesn't like them much.)

It could be a Diwali celebration, I think it is Oct 23, but there may be some early celebrations.

Ah - that's true. (So a possible two weeks of noise then.)

One of the few "gifts" of austerity in Ireland (at least round where I live) is that people don't seem to botherwith self detonated fireworks much any more.

I'm more than pleased with that.
