which cat food to get?

DH and I went shopping today for our new kittens (arriving on Saturday :)) Until now they have been fed Nature's Menu kitten wet pouches and Orijen cat and kitten dry food. But we were surprised to find that Pets at Home didn't stock either brand. There is another pet shop we can try, so I'm hoping they stock it, but in the long run I'm wondering if we can get them used to something that's a bit easier to get hold of... I don't mind paying more for good quality food that keeps them healthy, but the convenience factor is important too. Any recommendations?

Burns or James Wellbeloved.
More expensive but you use less of it as they're premium natural foods. 1 bag of burns lasts my kitten 1 month. Natural ingredients = nourished happy kitten.
Congratulations on your new impending little bundles Grin

Do you have a Costco near you? Our cats eat the Kirkland dry catfood sold in tge massive bags. £16 per bag, it feeds three cats for ten weeks. They dont have wet food.

Or order online from Zooplus.

My vet recommended not feeding my male cats all dry food, as they can suffer with bladder problems/infections.

Pets at Home sell Butchers Choice which is quite good. Also I think Pets at Home Purely range is ok,. You want something high in meat and without grains added.

Also good is Bozita, a Swedish wet food you can order from Zooplus.

We get our Orijen from Zooplus. It is expensive but they do a members discount and their delivery is very good. Having said that - with our last order they sent us a free sample of Purizon which we are thinking of switching to - both our cats loved it, it seems to be of similar quality and it's a bit cheaper!

I use Animonda Carny from Zooplus.. the kittens love it, it's much higher meat content than supermarket found brands and their delivery is great.

For dry I use Royal Canin kitten as that's what they had before I got them!

Mac's from the happy kitty company is fabulous. Very high quality, no grain/fillers and well priced.

Also, to add, the service is brilliant from the happy kitty co. Delivery for me has taken only a day each time and they always put treats and a toy in the box too.

I'd like to try some of the brands from Happy Kitty Co. At the moment they get Animonda Carny and Applaws dry. I like the Applaws because it's 80% chicken and grain free.

I wonder why Germany seems to make the best cat food...?
