Excessive kneading driving me mad!

I know it basically means she's happy but it's driving me mad. I don't mind a little bit but I'm starting to feel like a little pin cushion for her claws.

Can I stop this? We're talking 20-30 minutes at a time (if I don't put her on the floor before)

How old is she, Alba, and how long have you had her?

Oh - and what means are being used (by you and/or her) to reduce the prominence of claw tips?

Can you put a thick throw over your knees so it won't hurt?

She's two. I've only had her approx 2 months. Could it be part of her feeling unsettled still?

Also I've tried a blanket but she always creeps up to find some skin, even if it's almost your throat haha.

If she starts it, I'd hold her paws gently and say NO. If she persists, or restarts, I'd put her down. And keep on with that.

See how that goes, anyway.

You might also nip the tips off her claws regularly if they're sharp. I do that with my own old boy all the time because he can't any longer keep them in check properly himself.

Thanks, will give it a go
