Cat behaving erratically

Hi ladies, just looking for some advice.

My three year old indoor cat has been behaving very oddly since last night. She keeps running around the house like she has been spooked by something. Her back keeps twitching and she keeps biting the tip of her tail like it's driving her mad. She keeps coming to myself and DH for comfort but runs away again. She keeps getting into my drawers and clothes like she is looking for comfort but then runs around deranged again.

I can't figure out what is wrong with her and it seems like more than just being spooked by something because it keeps happening over the past 12 hours. She had flea treatment only last week so I don't think it can be fleas.

Anyone recognise this behaviour?

Oh no, poor cat, poor you. Sad

Have you heard of feline hyperesthesia? Have a google, the symptoms seem quite likely to be this.

Vets4Pets are open on a Sunday I think.

Unfortunately Rubbish, that doesn't seem completely off the mark. Sad

I'll keep an eye on her and if it doesn't improve in the next 24 hours I'll take her to the vet.
