My kitten is four months old. I've had him from eight weeks and he has never been outside. He has fleas. I have treated him with front line last week. Today I saw fleas in his fur. I also have two bites on my leg. How can I get rid of them?

If you go and see the vet and get Advocate it will do the job. It's much better than frontline. Then get Indorex spray and use it in the house to get rid of any.

I agree, we use advocate and it's brilliant.

Both my indoor cats got fleas, worse than an outdoor cat as they are just living with you.

We simply flea combed them everyday, dipping the fleas in boiling water from the comb and killing them. Sprayed the cats with a none pesticide flea spray, while spraying the furniture and areas with the same stuff. After about 3 weeks we have had no more fleas.

We still brush them with the flea comb every few days and give them a spray every couple of weeks.

Another vote for Advocate from the vet and we used Stay Kill spray to blitz house. Getting the house spray as important as treating the cat.

Advocate works! I get a prescription from the vet and then buy the stuff online (works out much cheaper and I go via Quidco so get cashback too).

I could use some advice too - vet gave us advocate 2 weeks ago, tonight I combed 2 fleas off one of my cats, I've just washed all their bedding and hoovered again... fighting a loosing battle and apparently I can't treat them again for another 2 weeks
It doesn't help my children have come home from first week with head lice... what is it with parasites and our home?!? if they get worms too I'll really lose the plot Grin
