Dill (ginger boy) and Parsley (brown tortie ish girl)
my 12 week old Maine Coons :)

It is already clear that Parsley is the brighter and braver of the two.. I've had them 24 hours and she is coming for a cuddle and purring lots. Dill is more timid and dopey but will purr if I stroke him after food:)

As you can see from Dill over my shoulder.. he's only 12 weeks and I think he may be quite big when he grows up!

I can only agree with everybody else - they're gorgeous! I didn't know Maine Coons came in ginger.

I was wondering how they were getting on! Thanks for the update. Hope you get sleep tonight.

I love their names! As well as their faces and ears and fluffiness.

Don't feel like you have to give us any more photos or anything.....

vicarious new kitten thrills

Tonight's update... we opened the gate after Portia had come up stairs and glared at them thro it.
Obie came down.. sniffed around and promptly ate Portia's dish of fish and then tried to pounce on her!!!! She was not impressed but was distracted by a peacock feather (she's 14 and still chases toys like a baby) She did hiss at him and growl a bit but then moved away, so I am very proud of her! She eventually said 'fuck it' and asked to go out! (she often goes in the garden at night if it's warm and sleeps in my sprouts veg bed!)

Ophie sat at the top of the stairs and cried for her brother.. aw. She eventually came half way down but that was it and they spent a merry hour diving under DS1's duvet and exploring his room.

Obie has now figured out how to climb the gate so I reckon tonight is the last possible night of keeping them upstairs. I shall now spend the next few weeks terrified of them getting out :/

Their personalities are coming out more by the hour!
