...left-pawed or right-pawed? I'd never noticed before, but current cat is definitely a southpaw. Grin

The tabby is ambidextrous, (shakes with both), black and white is left-pawed.

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/08/2014 21:35

Left pawed. Obv he is g&t too.

MrsMarigold · 19/08/2014 21:36

Right

OldLadyKnowsSomething · 20/08/2014 01:57

Hah, my left-pawed ginger is most definately not g&t, having him neutered must have raised the IQ of the local population by several points!

It's his right paw that he uses most - does that make him right pawed?

Lonecatwithkitten · 20/08/2014 09:22

The tail less wonder is right pawed, posh arrogant boy is ambidextrous (he would be).

cozietoesie · 20/08/2014 09:32

I should add that the paw is mostly used on ME. (I want............ Grin)

I've never really thought about it but I think right. She bats me with her right paw when I'm slow to obey and uses her right paw to scoop her food out onto my carpet!

OldLadyKnowsSomething · 20/08/2014 14:28

So it doesn't seem they're like us, most of us right-handed, about 10% (I think?) left-handed, and a small number ambidextrous. A more even spread amongst our feline friends.

Interesting. Thanks for your input!
