This little chap was four days old when he lost his front legs in a gardening accident.

What a horrible ordeal for a tiny kitten, but he is thriving.

Well, yes apparently - he's now almost a year old. His hind legs have developed to a degree where he can walk and jump about.

He seems to be very loved, and has his own Facebook page.

The story definitely tugged on my heart-strings very sharply.
