Bringing cats home from cattery

Our two cats will be in a cattery for a fortnight. I am a bit worried that when we bring them home they might go out and not come back. Should we keep them for a while until they get used to us/ the house again?

I wouldn't have thought it necessary. Cats' memories aren't that bad. Perhaps keen them in for 24 hours just to make sure they remember where they are if you're worried, but no more than that certainly.

Mine are always desperate to get outside and have a run round whenever they have been in a cattery! I wouldn't worry too much.. perhaps let them out into the garden but with some extra tasty snacks on offer.

They do however always sulk for 24 hours before being loving again!
