Just had to say goodbye

to my gorgeous, 17 year old handsome 3-legged tabby boy. Heartbroken even though I knew it was coming. He was old and incontinent, skinny and being sick, not really much quality of life. He was PTS. But I miss him so much already. Not sure why I'm posting this here to loads of strangers but I miss him so much already.

My old boy, Jasper, left me in February, I still 'see' him in the house and his older 'sister' is none too well at the moment and that is also upsetting. We are here to love them and also to miss them, bless them.

Ah maybeiwill, your Jasper looks so much like my boy, it's uncanny. Beautiful. It's sad isn't it, knowing the more you love them the more you will miss them. I keep waiting for Chico's 'brother' to register that something has changed but he's still snoozing in the sun, bless him. Most important is that they are all loved and I think that shows on this thread.

It sa horrible thing to go through even if it is the best thing. Our girl has an appointment tomorrow and I'm half expecting them to suggest PTS. Its only 6 weeks since her brother got run over and she has just gone downhill since
