Rehoming a stray

I have a stray cat who has been living in my garden for nearly a couple of weeks.
She isn't chipped or spayed.
RSPCA won't rehome a healthy stray - I have been feeding her.
Where I live there aren't many rehoming centres, I can't afford to keep her or get her spayed - though not poor enough to qualify for cats protection vouchers to get her done.
Any ideas on getting her rehomed, she is too friendly and loving not to have a proper home

How do you know she's not spayed? Well she'll be having kittens soon, and then a charity will have to get involved somehow. It would be much better to prevent that to start with.

Have you actually spoken to Cats Protection? You may not qualify for vouchers if she were your own cat, but surely they help out with strays? Where in the country are you?

she isnt spayed as she had recently had kittens and still had milk in her teats - what happened to her kittens, I hate to think :-(

The bigger named charities only seem interested when the cat is ill/neglected and a stray.

How recently has she had kittens? Have you seen them?

Have you actually asked CPL about vouchers for getting her done as she is a stray?

she has been in my garden 11 days, never saw the kittens at all.
Her teats have almost gone, she is looking normal again.
I shall try calling the cats protection again

I hope you can get help to have her spayed and could then give her a home. It costs very little to feed a cat and most are never chipped, vaccinated or insured. Of course these things are desirable but better to have a home.
