I hope someone is around... On sunday morning my cat was lame and unable to weight bare on front right leg, we took him to out of hours vet who said it appears to be a bite injury but he couldn't find the puncture wound. He was given a long lasting antibiotic injection and a painkilling injection, the vet said once those have kicked in, in a few hours he'll be fine.
Sunday evening he did get better, but today he is lame again, and really in a lot of pain, he's lethargic and very sad. I have given him some painkillers which I had left over from my other cat (all in date and correct dose).
We'll take him to the vets again tomorrow, but what could be wrong with him? Will he be ok tonight?
