Aw he's lovely Smile

Is he your first?

MySpideySenseTickles · 13/07/2014 18:26

We had one before ds was born but he had a run in with a car when ds was six months old.
I can't remember anything about kittens! How much to feed him? How often? Should I be concerned he's been here a few hours and not weed yet?

I did research before we decided to get him and one look at that cutie face and I forget everything lol

As long as he knows where his litter tray is, and it's close by, I wouldn't worry too much yet. He is so lovely!

MySpideySenseTickles · 13/07/2014 19:53

He's been in his tray lots of times and has gone down into "wee pose" a few times in there and once on te carpet but not weed, maybe he'll sete down more now ds (3) is upstairs refusing to sleep but also not trying to persuade the poor kitten to go inside his wooden castle! (Verbally, ds has been told he's not to touch baby dave unless mummy says it's ok)

Still no wee in the tray, he's been playing behind the sofa though so I'll have to check for wee patches.

Squeeeeee my dp is called dave but your kitten is much cuter

MySpideySenseTickles · 13/07/2014 23:31

Despite Dh trying to act all tough and "it's just a small cat" he's started referring to me as mummy to dave and him daddy, and he's sleeping on the sofa tonight because he has "toothache"

Just wait until you catch him crooning 'Who's his Daddy's wee boy, then ?' when he thinks he's not being observed. Then you'll know he's a goner.

He is absolutely gorgeous. We are getting two kittens (siblings) in about a month and I can't wait! Grin

Sixgeese · 13/07/2014 23:49

Our hamster's called Dave too, but I'm not saying who is cuter as the DC will get upset if I am not being loyal.

Scarletohello · 14/07/2014 00:28

OMG what a cute kitty! Never heard of a cat called Dave before but actually it's really sweet. Hope he settles in well, do keep us updated and please more pics! :)

MySpideySenseTickles · 14/07/2014 07:20

Still not been in the tray which is worrying but he's obviously bonded with Dh as he's sat crying at the back door because he's gone to take the bin out! He'll be gutted in a little while when he goes to work lol

He's weed in the tray! Yay can relax now.

We also have poo in the tray, goin to try him with some kitten milk as he's not overly keen on the water, Dh collected him and thinks he was drinking milk with the (accidental) breeders.
